To date, we’ve distributed 14,839 lbs of food for pets in need!

  • As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we improve animal welfare in Mahoning County, Ohio through prevention, advocacy, and education. Our main goal is to reduce animal neglect and abandonment by keeping pets with their families.

    We believe that if we help the people, we help the pets.

    • Our pet food assistance program prevents animal suffering, supports struggling pet parents, and reduces shelter overcrowding.

    • We also promote responsible pet ownership by sharing information and resources through our website, social media, and at local events.

We are not a rescue or shelter, so we do not take in animals. Instead, we focus on proactive measures to reduce the number of companion animals that end up at rescues and shelters.

    We purchase 1,200 pounds of dog and cat food each month with the funds we raise.

    Local businesses sell chocolate bars for us to help fund our pet food purchases.

    We also had a sip and paint fundraiser this past fall.

  • We accept pet food and supplies at our donation boxes.

    We have donation boxes at various businesses to collect pet food and supplies. These donations are distributed to pet food pantries.
